Original GARRISON Families
These are the family patriarchs. Four GARRISON households were
enumerated on the 1840 census. Samuel and John were father and son but
their relationship to the others, if any, remains unknown. Individuals
have been matched to categories using ages from later census
records.

Jennett CROCKETT[38] |
|
Family tradition has it that they moved to Obion Co. from SC in 1845, but the
birthdates and places of the children suggest that the move was between 1830 and
1835. So far we have nothing that shows exactly where they lived in SC,
but Jennett's CROCKETT family was from Mecklenburg Co. NC and Lancaster Co. SC
so it is reasonable to assume that Benjamin's GARRISON line was in the same
area. |
