Cole, John H. 00101001-00100001

This appears to be the household of John Henry COLE, who had a farm on the state line in neighboring Hickman Co. KY. Oral tradition has it that this was a "large" family, but we have been able to identify only four offspring. The extended family lived along the border so some of the answers undoubtedly lie in Kentucky census records. John Henry COLE died in 1835, so does not appear on later census records.

James Madison COLE, who was enumerated as Household #638 on the 1850 census for Obion Co, would have been only 17 in 1830. Otherwise, no match although I believe that John Henry had more children I haven't yet found.
