This study covers started with Obion Co. TN and its
primary focus is still there although it has been expanded to include
neighboring counties because families of the area moved back and forth across
county & state lines so much. |

As individuals, we often find a tidbits of information about
people bearing one of our surnames whom we can't tie into our own families. This
started out as a place to pool our information in the form of conjectural charts
and perhaps turn one person's mystery into another person's answer. When WorldConnect
became available, it proved to be a better way to maintain and share the
database itself so it replaced the old-style charts. |

But I missed the convenient access to others researching
the same names in the same area, so I remodeled this site to retain contact
information, provide a brief description of each line, and house the collection
of census worksheets. |
